About Our Organization
Epilepsy Foundation Northwest is the principal advocate for people with epilepsy in Washington, Oregon and Alaska. We are committed to increasing public awareness and understanding of epilepsy, providing education, and ensuring people with seizures have opportunities to fully participate in all life experiences.
Funds raised go towards uncompensated programs and services including:
-Seizure Response (first aid training)
-Public Education (epilepsy education)
-Camp Discovery (youth summer camp)
-C.A.N. Volunteers (volunteer advocacy, mentoring)
-Youth Epilepsy Advocates (support program for teens)
-Veterans Support Programs (support for veterans and families)
-Speak Up-Speak Out (government advocacy)
-Emergency Medication (for uninsured, homeless, needy)
